If you are looking to install an LSD, or change the gear ratio, or you are swapping the carrier unit from another differential, then you will most certainly need to adjust Backlash and Carrier preload. To do it properly, this kit is a musthave.
It contains 10 shims, in the range of 1 to 2 mm thickness, each increasing by 0.1 mm.
Therefore, unlike other sets in the market, RacingDiffs allows you to adjust your diff with unmatched precision!
Backlash adjustment is critical. If not done properly, a whining noise and the crown ring damage will inevitably occur.
